How to Add a New CMS Page in PrestaShop 1.6.x

The “CMS”(Managing Static Content) page presents you all the content pages that were previously created on your shop for the home page.

For adding CMS page you should do the following steps.

Step 1. Log into your PrestaShop admin panel.

Step 2. Go to to Preferences -> CMS.

Step 3. Click Add new button to add a new CMS page.

Step 4. Fill in all the required fields (name, frendly URL, page content). Do not forget to create one version of each page for each of your supported languages

Step 5. Enable the page.

Step 6. Save the changes.

Now that the new page is added and enabled you should adding a link to it from the settings of the CMS Block module.

Step 7. Go to Modules -> Modules and search for “CMS Block” module.

Step 8. Click on Configure button.

Step 9. At the Left Blocks of CMS block configuration section, click Edit button.

Step 10. Click to enable your added page and click Save.

Step 11.  In Configuration of the various links in the footer section, click to enable your newly added page.

Step 12. Save your settings by clicking on the Save button. 

Now go to your shop’s front-office and check the new added page in footer menu.
